Slash: Lindsay Lohan Did Nothing Wrong

Submitted by on September 20, 2012 – 10:00 am Comments

What the hell was Slash thinking, when he decided to defend Lindsay Lohan? Agreed, he must be her good friend and all, but despite knowing her track record, it’s shocking that he decided to stand up for her. Agreed, friends look out for each other when in trouble, but friends are also supposed to show you the right path, if you are going astray. “The situation last night w/Lindsey was a lame paparazzi stunt. She didn’t do anything. It’s being blown out of proportion” Tweeted Slash, making light of the whole incident. But, his whole logic is flawed solely because of the fact that he wasn’t at the scene when the incident took place, and therefore he has wrongly mentioned that the paparazzi was at the scene, which actually isn’t the case at all.

Also, the victim has mentioned that Lindsay was reeking of booze during the incident, which isn’t too surprising a fact knowing Lindsay. Slash on his part must surely be aware if Lindsay was drunk, as he had hung around with Lindsay backstage, at his show, just before the incident took place. As a friend he should have ideally advised Lindsay to not drive her car, if she was actually drunk, as that would have been a more knight like thing to do than, being her knight in shining armor, on Twitter.

From his Tweets it in fact seems as if, Slash wasn’t aware that Lindsay was drunk, or he probably knows for a fact that Lindsay wasn’t drunk. If one were to assume that the latter is true and that Lindsay wasn’t actually drunk, it’s all the more worrisome. As it basically means that, she has questionable driving skills which might in the future result in a more serious accident.

If you think about it, it seems highly improbable that Lindsay isn’t very good at driving, as she probably has been driving for ages. Therefore one is inclined to believe the victim’s version that, she was drunk. Fortunately for Lindsay and for the victim, the accident wasn’t serious, and the victim escaped without a scratch. But, apparently neither Lindsay nor her friends are suffering from any guilt or remorse, which is a worrying sign, as it means that she isn’t going to learn anything from her mistake, as usual.
