Rosie O’Donnell Wants To Buy Honey Boo Boo Family A House

Submitted by on October 8, 2012 – 10:00 am Comments

Turns out, Rosie is a huge fan of the show ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’. She loves the whole family and was quoted as saying “I love Mama June. I love Sugar Bear. I love Chubbs”. “I’d love to meet them and buy them a house” she added. So you can imagine how big a fan she is of the show and its stars. But, her offer to buy them a house must have many every redneck yell ‘what the hell’. After all, the Honey Boo Boo family isn’t doing anything special besides living their usual lives; the only difference is that they are living it front of a camera.

Rosie though, has her eyes only for the stars of Honey Boo Boo and in fact has claimed, she can do a spot-on impression of Mama June. First it was the raise, and now this offer from Rosie to buy them a house; not only rednecks but even others must be yelling ‘what the hell’. Here is another fact that might have you yelling ‘what the hell’. Rosie has compared Alana Thompson to Shirley Temple.

For the uninitiated, Shirley Temple was easily the most popular and famous child star of all time. She got her start in the movies at the age of three and soon progressed to super stardom. Shirley could do it all: act, sing and dance and all at the age of five! Hence, many would find this comparison a little unfair. But, Shirley was around in the early 30’s, therefore most of her fans are probably too old to protest.

Coming back in the present, O’Donnell has also said about Alana that “She has a presence and an intellect that goes way beyond her years”. Well, one thing is for sure, Rosie or not, TLC will very soon buy the family a house. After all, the network is making a lot of money out of the show, and wouldn’t want to look cheap in front of its audience, by not even buying the family a decent house to live in. There are obviously many, who simply can’t understand as to ‘what the hell’ keeps America hooked on to this family, week after week.
