Lindsay Lohan May Face Jail Time

Submitted by on November 6, 2012 – 9:05 am Comments

Well here is something that wouldn’t have you yelling ‘what the hell’, but might have you commenting ‘I just knew it’. Turns out, Lindsay Lohan might at last have to see the inside of a prison cell, yes all you fans of Lindsay Lohan can now yell ‘what the hell’. She shall reportedly be charged for lying to the cops earlier this year, regarding a car crash. The actress is alleged to have lied about not being behind the wheel of her Porsche in a car crash at Pacific Coast Highway in June.

The problem is there were several eyewitnesses at the scene who corroborated the fact that Lindsay was behind the wheel, when her Porsche rammed an 18-wheeler truck from behind. ‘What the hell’ was Lindsay thinking when she decided to lie to cops, some would ask, especially when there were eyewitnesses at the scene. Did she think she would get away with it because people love her so much that they would lie for her? Or did she feel her lawyers would somehow get her out of trouble?

Whatever the thought process that went behind her lying, on hindsight she surely regrets the decision, especially now when she stands the risk of going to prison for it. Police sources have said that the case will be filed as a misdemeanor charge by the Santa Monica City Attorney later this week. Seems like even the cops are tired of her ways and don’t want to let this one go. Basically Lohan is currently on probation over a jewelry theft in 2011, and therefore this latest charge could trigger a probation violation, leading to possible jail time.

‘What the hell’ is she thinking when she does these things, one might again ask. In June when the accident happened and Lohan was taken to the hospital, she in the hospital told the cops that she wasn’t the one who was driving the Porsche; her lawyer arrived soon after and forbade her from making any more statements. Guess her lawyer should have arrived a little earlier than he had, so Lindsay for her own good could be stopped from saying anything at all, to the cops.
