Why the hell would you turn down $10 million, especially when you are getting paid that stupendous amount to rid yourself of Kim Kardashian? This is probably the question many would want to ask Kris Humphries who reportedly turned down that amount, which was offered to him by Kim Kardashian for a divorce settlement. ‘What the hell’ was Humphries thinking, is probably the question that is plaguing the minds of many after reading this news.

Is his hated and anger for Kim Kardashian so much that it wouldn’t even be mollified by $10 million? Well, the answer to that question has actually already been given by Humphries, as he and Kim thanks to him are still married. In other words, Humphries is out for some cold courtroom vengeance and nothing short of that it seems will satisfy him. It looks like he simply hasn’t managed to get over the humiliation of being unceremoniously dumped by Kim and coming to know about it through the media.

 “After Kim filed for divorce, she offered Kris a $10 million payoff with the agreement that he would not continue to pursue an annulment to their marriage on the grounds of fraud” is what an insider was quoted as saying about the offer Kim had initially made Kris. Kris on his part is absolutely adamant about an annulment, which would mean the marriage never happened. ”He wants to be able to marry in a church again, with a clear conscience, when he finds someone special. Kris is deeply religious and he believes that the only way he can do that is if his marriage to Kim is annulled” the insider was further quoted as saying, revealing what Kris wants and why he wants what he wants.

Deeply religious or not, Kris is deeply angry there is no doubt about that and it looks as if he might in the end get his way, as Kim is really keen to get rid of him from her life before she delivers her baby. This also lays to rest the speculation that Kris had initially asked for a huge payout in exchange for the divorce. “That absolutely never happened. Kris has given a sworn declaration that he has never asked Kim for a single dime. The only thing he has asked for, and continues to ask for, is for her to agree to an annulment” the insider said, clarifying it’s not money but an annulment that Kris wants.
