Fan Bites Danny Bonaduce

Submitted by on October 1, 2012 – 2:00 pm Comments

Recently a fan of Danny Bonaduce literally got a taste of him, when she bit him on the pretense of kissing him. “She said, ‘I loved you on The Partridge Family. Can I kiss you?’,” Bonaduce explained, revealing as to why he allowed the fan to kiss him in the first place. “I could feel things popping” he added. Danny and everyone else must be wondering, ‘what the hell’ was this fan thinking, when she decided to take a bite out of him?

To top it all, it wasn’t a gentle bite like the ones lovers give each other. In fact, the woman nearly held on for a minute, after latching her teeth onto Danny’s face. The thing that also needs to be asked here is, if the woman was actually a fan, or was she someone who hated The Partridge Family so much that she just had to take revenge. For the uninitiated, The Partridge Family was a popular TV show in the 70s, and it revolved around the humorous adventures of a family of pop musicians. Danny Bonaduce was a kid then, and essayed the role of Danny Partridge on the show.

Agreed, Danny’s character on the show was a bit of an irritating brat, but he still doesn’t deserve to be bitten for that nearly 40 years later. Well, after the incident the woman was taken into police custody, but Danny has decided not to press charges. One might say what the hell is Danny thinking, not pressing charges? But look at it from his perspective; thanks to this incident he has managed to get a decent amount of press, which hasn’t gotten since 2007, when he was accused of attacking ‘Survivor’ star Jonny Fairplay.

On the career front, Bonaduce is an RJ at a Seattle radio network, which isn’t really a job that keeps him much in the headlines. He has appeared on a number of TV shows and TV movies, over the years, but hasn’t really managed to make the kind of impact that he did, with his role in The Partridge Family.
