Barbara Walters Outraged By Lindsay Lohan’s Leno Interview

Submitted by on November 13, 2012 – 8:13 am Comments

Now here is a piece of news that would have fans of Barbara Walters yelling ‘what the hell’ more than anybody else. Barbara Walters is enraged at the fact that Lindsay Lohan, chose Jay Leno over her. Basically, Lindsay recently cancelled her interview with Walters without even giving a good enough reason as to why she is doing it. Surely, that must have had Walters yelling ‘what the hell’.

What made it worse is the fact that Lindsay then agreed to make an appearance on Jay Leno’s chat show. Understandably, anyone in Barbara’s place would have also been offended and enraged at what Lindsay did. Barbara expressed her chagrin on this issue and was quoted as saying, “If they’d said to me ‘You know, Barbara, she isn’t up to the kinds of questions that you might ask’ … If they had told me that, I wouldn’t feel quite as disappointed as I do today”. ‘What the hell’ was Lohan and her team thinking when they turned down Barbara but decided to go with Leno, some would ask.

Was it that Walters would ask questions that would put Lindsay in a spot, that made her cancel on Walters? Or is it simply that Leno’s show is too big for Lindsay to turn down, especially when she needs the publicity? To add insult to injury, the reason Lindsay’s team gave for cancelling the interview with Barbara, was simply that she wasn’t feeling “up to it”. Bet you can’t stop yourself from yelling ‘what the hell’ after hearing the reason. It turns out; Lindsay’s team insinuated the interview with Leno would be in a lighter vein, as compared to the one with Walters, where she might end up asking some searching questions.

But the fact is, Lindsay already knew what she was getting into, when she was booked for an interview with Walters, so what is it that really changed? Also, who’s to say Leno wouldn’t poke a bit of fun at the joke that Lindsay’s life has become. Lindsay’s Leno interview is supposed to air next week, which is when we all will know if the interview is worth yelling ‘what the hell’, or whether it’s just a damp squib.
