This week in Top In Box Office is different for a change. With the last list of the Top 5 in the bottom of the Top 10, a new group of movies are here to entertain. With a wide range of films ready to be seen, Hotel Transylvania seems to have captured the Halloween season as goblins and ghouls surround the castle. The Top 5 for this Week in Top Box Office are:

1. Hotel Transylvania – Dracula has a five-star resort that hosts monsters and their families. This is to give them a sense of peace from the humans trying to bother them. Mavis, his daughter is about to hit her 118th birthday and he wants everything to be perfect. Dracula invites monsters from all over the world. Frankenstein and his bride, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, a family of werewolves, and more are coming and they have everything ready. When a human makes his way into the castle of monsters and falls in love with Dracula’s daughter, things get a little weirder than they already are.

2. Looper – Set in the future, time travel is available solely on the black market and the Mob wants to kill someone in the past. A looper, a hired gun, to do the job. Joe is that guy . As he is waiting to mop up, he is getting rich. However, when the Mob decides to send Joe’s future self for assassination, things go from good to back rather quickly.

3. End of Watch -  When Officers Taylor and Zavala of the Los Angeles Police Department patrol, they have one thing on their mind; to protect and serve. With footage from the cameras from the patrol cars, the story moves through dangerous lives of the city’s finest as they uncover gangs, violence, and other illegal activity.

4. Trouble With The Curve – Gus is a scout for baseball and is feeling that it is time to turn things over to another. However, he doesn’t want to stop what he is doing.  When the office to the Atlanta Braves start to question his judgement, Gus takes action with the help of his daughter, Mickey. She and Gus go out on his latest scouting trips to find the best of the best.

5. House At The End Of The Street -When Sarah gets divorced, she is looking for a fresh start as she looks at a small rural town. Her daughter Elissa and her find out that their quiet little town has been hiding a secret. The house next door was where a daughter killed her parents in their beds and left her brother, Ryan as a survivor. As Elissa gets closer to Ryan, more is revealed.

That’s it for your Top 5! Many have taken to the theaters over the new movies and have found that they offer the right amount of entertainment needed to sustain the hype that they have now. The number one movie is perfect for the kids and it will give you time to have some quality time together laughing. Until next time, keep trying not to finish your popcorn until the movie ends and not the previews.
