Peter Sarsgaard The Killing Season 3The Killing is a show that follows the police investigation into the murder of a young girl tying together three interlocking stories as investigators chase a variety of leads. The show has been around since 2011 and has seen decent ratings. It was announced just last month that the show has been renewed for a third season, for which the shoot will begin on February 25 2013.

The Killing season 3 begins a year after the Rosie Larsen case. Stephen Holder searches for a runaway girl and uncovers a string of murders connecting to Sarah Linden’s previous murder investigation. Linden, no longer a detective, must return to both a career and a case she had put behind her. It has also been announced that for this third season Peter Sarsgaard has been roped in. Sarsgaard’s character on the show, Tom Seward, was “born into poverty and crime” and has “been in and out of the system for violent crimes since he was 10”. Basically, Sargaard is the villain in this new season.
