‘Dancing With The Stars’ Elimination Shocker!

Submitted by on October 10, 2012 – 6:34 am Comments

Apparently ABC doesn’t negotiate with terrorist because it was revealed that Bristol Palin is safe for another week on the hit dancing show ‘Dancing With The Stars’. The fact that the worst dancing couple of the night weren’t even in the Bottom Two is devastating to a lot of fans. However, two former Mirror-Ball champions went home instead. This would be the second week that the daughter of former governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, had survived from being eliminated.

Last night, Drew Lachey and his “All-Stars” partner Anna Trebunskaya went home followed by Helio Castroneves and his pro, Chelsie Hightower. Now, the fact that Bristol Palin got the lowest scores of the night shows that there is something fishy going on here. Like last time Bristol was on the show, many people didn’t understand why the lack-luster wannabe dancer was staying in the competition over people who could actually dance. Is it because Sarah Palin is at the ‘Dancing With The Stars’ auditorium every week and how cameras make the extra effort to point out that she is there?

Whatever the reason, the results showed that this is not about Dancing even more and just about popularity. This has always been the show’s downfall. To claim to be a dancing competition and to judge on dancing means that you would actually get rid of dancers who have constantly failed to deliver. Earlier last week, the studio even got a “suspicious package” that was addressed to Bristol Palin with a note to eliminate Bristol from the competition. Apparently ABC doesn’t play ball like that and would want to keep Bristol in for a while bit longer.

The demographic of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ might be able to relate to Bristol, but the fact that good dancers with meaningful charities rather than a foundation that cares more about Bristol Palin than their actual charity work. But, I digress. The show returns for another week of dance where, again, Bristol will surely get last place. Then at results show, she will be safe for another week. I can already see the future. What do you think? Is Bristol a good dancer or not?
