For those who are unaware, Fonda is the daughter of the legendary Hollywood star Henry Fonda, therefore acting is in her genes. Also, in 2013 she shall be seen in the movie ‘The Butler’, which is a movie about a White House butler who serves eight American Presidents over the course of three decades. In the movie, Fonda shall be seen essaying the role of Nancy Reagan. Then again in 2013 she shall be seen in another movie called ‘Better Living Through Chemistry’.The movie is basically about a straight-laced pharmacist’s uneventful life that, spirals out of control when he starts an affair with a trophy wife customer who takes him on a joyride involving sex, drugs and possibly murder.  Coming back to ‘Now What?’ the show is slated to be directed by Scott Ellis, who shall also be executive producing it, with Mike Tollin. Ellis has earlier directed episodes on shows like ‘Weeds’, ‘Modern Family’, ‘2 Broke Girls’ and most recently, ‘New Normal’. Therefore as you can see, he has quite the experience in directing comedy shows, which would hold him in good stead while directing the pilot episode of ‘Now What?’

That combined with Fonda’s talent, might actually work wonders and the show might get picked up by ABC for a full-fledged series. It augers mention that, Now What’s main concept is similar to that behind CBS comedy $#*! My Dad Says, which centers around a blogger who moves back in with his opinionated father, played by William Shatner.
