Levi Johnston And Bristol Palin Custody Battle

Submitted by on August 6, 2012 – 3:28 pm Comments

Levi Johnston has said that Bristol Palin is an awful parent and that he wants full custody of their son Tripp. Johnston is using Palin’s new Bristol with son Trippreality show “Life’s a Tripp” as proof. In the show Palin allows her son Tripp to run wild, talk back, cuss, and behave poorly. In a recent episode of the show, Tripp even called his aunt Willow the F-word.  During the same episode Bristol admits she’s doing a “terrible job disciplining Tripp.”

Well now Johnston has had enough. He has said he is disgusted by Tripp’s behavior and that his son is on a “downward spiral” and gets “no real parenting.” Johnston says that Tripp needs a better upbringing than what Palin and her family can provide. “I love my son more than anything and I will do whatever it takes to make sure he is raised the right way.” Johnston has picked up all the paperwork necessary to begin the process Levi Johnston smilingand plans to file it ASAP.

It seems Johnston has been opposed to the reality show since the very beginning. Earlier this summer Johnston refused to return any of Palin’s calls or messages, fearing that any meeting would be filmed and put on her show “Life’s a Tripp.” Johnston’s new girlfriend, Sunny Oglesby, who is pregnant with Johnston’s second child” said that Johnston was warned by his manager not to respond to Palin’s calls and texts because she only wanted to argue and fight for the camera.

Johnston and Palin broke up over 2 years ago in July 2010. Palin continually slammed Johnston insisting he was “obsessed with the limelight.” In 2011, Johnston fired back with his tell-all book “In the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin’s Crosshairs.” His book showed a very dysfunctional family and made it seem like Bristol had been desperate to get pregnant.

Bristol’s show “Life’s a Tripp” aired on June 19th on TLC, and after only two weeks, it was bumped to the 10 p.m. time slot and was replaced with reruns of “Dance Moms.” Meanwhile, Bristol is getting ready to start her second run on “Dancing with the Stars.”

What is so sad to me is that these people have no regard whatsoever for their son, Tripp. They are both using the drama (and Tripp) to merely keep themselves in the limelight. They should both lose custody for the neglect they have for him. It is disgusting. All the back and forth is almost comical, that is, if it wasn’t for this poor child at the center of it all. It’s hard enough for children when normal, everyday parents break up. But for those in the “limelight”, it’s even worse. Even Sarah Palin is in on it, degrading Levi in interviews and on National TV. How do you think that poor child will feel when he grows up and sees things like this? It’s APPALLING! The Palins and Johnston need to all mature a bit and realize that this child needs all the family he’s got. They need to get over their own egos and begin to care for this little guy, before it’s too late!
