Topher Grace shall now be seen on ‘A Many Spiltered Thing’ the Justin Reardon-directed film, along with Chris Evans and Michelle Monaghan. He has recently been signed on. The production for this movie is slated to begin on October 26. The movie is reportedly going to be on the lines of Amelia and (500) Days of Summer.

The story of the film basically revolves around a young man disillusioned by love who meets a breathtaking young woman at a charity dinner by pretending to be a philanthropist. Turns out, she’s engaged to a guy who doesn’t like her going on dates. Challenged by the chase, and egged on by his eclectic friends, he feigns a platonic relationship in order to keep seeing her as he tries to conquer her heart. Grace as it turns out, has been chosen to play the best friend of the young man in question.

The movie has been written by Paul Vicknair and Chris Shafer. Many would say that, the story of the movie doesn’t sound to be extremely original, but Reardon who is virtually new on the block and who hasn’t directed a full length feature film up until now, might just bring something new and fresh to the table. With actors like Chris Evans who is riding high given his recent successes, Michele Monaghan who is also a known face, and now Topher Grace, another known face and a talented actor, onboard, it would surely help Reardon’s cause. Also, it would be interesting to see how well Reardon manages to use this relatively talented star cast.

Topher Grace on his part shall be seen next, in the comedy ‘The Big Wedding’. In the movie, Grace shall be rubbing shoulders with veterans like Robert Deniro, Robin Williams, Susan Sarandon and Diane Keaton. After being part of a movie with such a star cast, a movie like ‘A Many Spiltered Thing’, would probably seem like a walk in the park for Grace. In fact, with his kind of talent and approach to acting, it wouldn’t be surprising if he manages to steal the show as far as ‘A Many Spiltered Thing’ is concerned.
