Makers Of Avengers Announce A Sequel

Submitted by on August 16, 2012 – 1:36 pm Comments

It is speculated and confirmed there will be a sequel to the hit move The Avengers. The Avengers 2 will arrive in theatres somewhere by May of 2015. It will not go without a fight because other action packed movies are soon to follow with Captain America, Thor, and presumed Iron Man. Early May is seen to be a great time for Marvel movies to take vengeance. The Avengers took over the box office bringing in $200 million in the first weekend it came out.

Iron Man opened in May of 2008 which brought a surprise to all critics taking over the box office smashing records as well. There is a strong interest in marvel movies as it started with the Incredible Hulk and escalated to several movies over the years. Now that marvel plans on coming out with the sequel Avengers 2, it is expected to bring in millions like the sister movies did.

The main cast of the first Avengers will be coming back to star including Joss Whedon as the director of the upcoming movie. With the making of Avengers 2 it is expected to have different heroes in it than the first one to bring in a large twist to everything in the movies. Some of those heroes that I would like to see are Ant-Man and wasp, Vision, She-hulk, Namor, and the war machine. Although it is not confirmed what heroes will be included just yet.

Makers of Avengers 2 are trying to keep everything about the movie on a hush note until time gets closer to announce what the movie will be about. Some have speculations of what the movie will be about, but there is no confirmation. It only leaves us to wonder what hit marvel movies will be next because The Avengers and Avengers 2 will be taking up several characters that could have been used for hit single marvel movies.

It is not limited to what will be out soon or next, but it is expected to do well in the box office in 2015. The cost to make the movie will be high, and in the end only time will tell how much the movies together will make subtracting the cost to make and pay the actors. It will be an interesting three years as all marvel fans decide to wait until the big day hits in 2015.
