tronhedAs the Tron franchise continues and with Jesse Wigutow hired to write the script for the third installment for the movie, Garrett Hedlund has confirmed that he will be returning for the movie. Hedlund played Sam Flynn, son to Kevin Flynn. The good new about the sequel to Tron Legacy is going to have the same director and same cast. This makes for a great franchise.

Fans of the Sci-Fi action flick are excited that they are not going to have to part ways with their beloved characters. Some would disagree that making another Tron movie is going to be a good thing. “Tron: Legacy” only grossed 172 million in the US and that alone should be a read flag. However, globally the film fared well with 400 million. This is why Disney was on board with the film for a third installment. It is going to be interesting to see where they are going to go with this.ENTER_MOVIE-TRON_3_MCT

The storyline for many fans is perfect and the acting is superb. However, there are those that feel that if the film didn’t blow the competition out of the water, is it worth it to make? The actors who have confirmed of returning to “Tron 3” are happy that they have the chance to have fun on the set again. To work at all is a blessing it would seem.

Let’s just hope that they come out with a 3D version that is ACTUALLY 3D and not a disclaimer saying that only “parts” of the movie are in 3D. The movie has promise and there are a lot of hopeful hearts who are going to go to work on it. It is good that the stars have agreed to come back for another one. What do you think of the movie that is coming out? Do you think that it will flop or succeed?
