With experts who were a part of the summit, coming onboard, the movie promises to be as authentic as possible. It would have been interesting, if someone from Gorbachev’s team was also brought in for consultation. Douglas on his part was last seen onscreen, in the action thriller ‘Haywire’ in 2011. He then took some time off to get treated for the throat cancer he was diagnosed with in 2010. In 2013 he shall be seen in the movie ‘Behind the Candelabra’ which is about the life and times of the celebrated pianist Liberace. Douglas is set to play the title role in the film. Giving him company in the film would be Matt Damon, Dan Aykroyd and Debbie Reynolds, besides others.

Waltz on the other hand, shall be seen this year in the highly anticipated film ‘Django Unchained’. He shall then render his voice to an animated character in the animated comedy ‘Epic, which is about a teenager, who finds herself transported to a deep forest setting where a battle between the forces of good and the forces of evil is taking place.
