Peter Dinklage X-MenIt has been revealed by none other than Bryn Singer himself that, Peter Dinklage of Game of Thrones has been roped in for X-Men: Days of Future Past. Bryan basically revealed this news on Twitter by tweeting “Officially like to welcome #PeterDinklage from #GameOfThrones to #XMEN #DaysofFuturePast Very very excited!” Singer didn’t reveal though, as to what role Dinklage would be essaying in the film.

Dinklage has been confirmed but as far as Halle Berry returning as Storm is concerned, Singer isn’t forthcoming about what his thoughts are. When asked about it, he was quoted as saying: “I can’t say. I don’t know yet. And it’s not necessarily a deal making aspect at all. I want to make sure it’ll make sense. But I love working with her”. Singer with that quote couldn’t have sounded any more ambiguous if he tried. This doesn’t mean he hasn’t made up his mind about her, instead it probably means he doesn’t want us to know what his plans are just yet.

In a recent interview Singer also revealed that the film would be made in 3D.But, he wasn’t forthcoming about any other details, X-Men Days Of Future Pastespecially concerning plot details. “There’s things that we’re going to do in this movie that haven’t been done in X-Men films before. Stuff involving [time travel], and stuff involving certain technology, and certain science fiction aspects that haven’t been used before in an X-Men film. We’d like to keep some of that a surprise” Singer was quoted as saying.

Interestingly, Singer had a two-hour discussion with James Cameron, director of the time-travel films The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day, about how to make the time-travel concept feasible and workable within the film. The film is influenced by the “X-Men” comics ‘Days of Future Past’ (1981) and ‘All-New X-Men’ (2012), both of which involve time-traveling mutants who seek to change history for the better.
