Simon Cowell Saves 9 Lives!!

Submitted by on August 31, 2012 – 4:00 pm Comments

Many of you probably had already suspected that there was an actual heart beating, behind that tough exterior and the motor mouth. Well here is the conformation. Simon Cowell recently did something which would surely make many of his detractors, hate him a little less. He saved 9 lives, yes you are reading the number right, the man rescued 9 people, by using his yacht worth millions of dollars, as a lifeboat. The 9 people, who he saved, were on a vessel that capsized.

Turns out, someone on his yacht heard a distress call and informed Simon about it. Simon sprung into action and instructed the captain of his yacht to find the boat that was about to sink. The boat was eventually found and the 9 people who were on it were rescued by Simon and his crew.  As a matter of fact, Simon went a mile further and delegated his crew to repair the 35-foot boat. Thus he not only saved the lives that he did, but also managed to salvage the sinking boat, by plugging the hole in it.

All of this took place when Simon was enjoying the sun and tanning his pasty British complexion. Accompanying him was his ex-girlfriend. The incident took place somewhere in St.Tropez. Simon was probably taking some time off and enjoying himself, now that he doesn’t have the punishing schedule of American Idol to abide by. No doubt that, he on his part is an extremely busy man who produces show after show, besides being a judge on few of them.

It also must be conceded that most of the shows he produces go on to become really successful and create for themselves, a global franchise, therefore it isn’t hard to imagine the money he must be raking in thanks to all of that.

It would have been interesting to see if American Idol would have gone through the same kind of a rough patch that it’s going through at the moment, if he had still been involved with the show. Probably, he foresaw the eventual fate of the show and decided to bow out before it was too late. After all he does have a penchant for spotting out sinking ships.
