Sharon Osbourne Feels Beiber Won’t Last Long

Submitted by on October 15, 2012 – 11:00 am Comments

Sharon Osbourne recently voiced her opinion about Justin Beiber and his looks. Her views weren’t too flattering and must have displeased a huge section of the crowd, who love to call themselves Beliebers. She voiced her views while speaking at the National Radio Conference in Sydney.

“For me, Justin is… I’ve met him, I’ve worked with him, I did a TV commercial with him. He’s a really great little guy. But that’s his problem — he’s a little guy,” Sharon said. “His fans are growing up, they’re 18, 19-year-olds now. And that means the little girls of titties and lips (sic), you know they’re young women. And he still looks like that little boy! He needs some hair, or something. … I just don’t think, from my gut, maybe my gut’s wrong ‘cos it’s not 100%, but I don’t think he’s going to stand the test of time.”

Well Sharon has a point there, no denying that. But, another way of looking at the whole thing is that, Beiber if he manages to look young for a long time would keep appealing to young girls, who will soon be 15-16 years old and when they cross that age, there will be younger girls waiting in the queue already. Well, Sharon did add that Beiber is a really “nice” guy, which should come as some consolation for the Beliebers. “But you know what, I don’t feel sorry for him, because he’s made oodles and he’s a fabulously nice person and he’ll go on to do something else,” she said.

She probably added the last few statements, as she didn’t want Beiber lovers hating her guts. It has to be added, when Ozzy Osbourne’s wife says Beiber doesn’t have timeless appeal, some would say she knows what she is talking about. Ozzy is the antithesis of Beiber and very few would deny that he has timeless appeal. In fact, Beiber probably could look at what Sharon has said as sound advice and try to do something about it. In reply to what Sharon has said, Beiber Tweeted, he isn’t worried about losing his appeal eventually. Somehow, it’s difficult to believe that Bieber isn’t a little bit worried.
