NBA Star Jason Kidd’s Ex Juomana Fights For Him

Submitted by on August 22, 2012 – 6:00 pm Comments

Mark Cuban the owner of the NBA team the Dallas Mavericks is not going to retire Jason Kidd’s jersey number. Joumana, Jason’s ex-wife, has something to say about it. She is not too happy that Cuban is being the way he is. Jason Kid led the Mavericks to an NBA championship before split to New York right after. She believes Jason should be treated like the superstar he is and there is no reason Mark Cuban should do the right thing.

According to sources rumors spread the two had a rocky divorce much worse than Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Joumana says that is not what happened and the two actually still get along real well resulting in remaining friends.

Whatever the case may be between the ex-couple things are for that Cuban hates Jason’s guts. He cannot stand the dude. He is upset because of the way Jason up and left the team back in July of this year. According to Cuban, Kidd just up and left. Sources say Cuban stated “I like J-Kidd. He’s a good guy. But I just thought that was wrong. You can’t put a guy’s number in the rafters when he decides he doesn’t want to be there” on the subject. He also denies hating Kidd, but just thinks it is wrong the way he left. He says other players will be put up on the rafters before Kidd’s jersey hangs anywhere in that stadium.  Cuban is not going to stand down and says just because Jason was a free agent does not make it right to just jet off to another team.

According to sources Kidd was only a backup plan anyway and when Kidd heard about is the time he split. He has never been satisfied with second best or a backup itself. That is what makes Joumana so ticked. She knows Kidd better than anyone especially Cuban. For now neither one of the two is planning on backing down from the standoff. If Jason and his ex-have anything to do with it Cuban will have no involvement with the decision. It is a credential of honor. An honor to celebrate and remember how big of a help he really was for Dallas. Joumana believes Dallas would have never won that championship without Kidd. Now that is something to think about Mark Cuban.
