Natalie Portman Giving Two New Thrillers A Thought

Submitted by on October 3, 2012 – 10:00 am Comments

Natalie Portman might be busy being a new mom, but that hasn’t taken her attention off work. The Oscar winning actress is giving roles in two different movies, some serious thought. One of them is a movie called ‘Code Name Sasha’  a movie that is centered on a single mother who is given the chance to leave her life of crime behind, after the FBI asks her to go undercover inside a gun-running organization. Obviously, Natalie has been offered the role of the single mother.

From the description of the story, it seems someone like Portman would be able to do perfect justice to the role. She can portray vulnerability, but can also play a tough character. A perfect showcase of that is her Oscar-winning role in Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan.   The other movie that she is considering doing is a movie called Last Witness. Should she accept this movie, she shall be essaying the role of a psychologist treating an amnesiac who survived a bombing. This movie too seems right up Portman’s alley, as she can very well portray characters that are cerebral in nature. She did a great job playing a scientist in Thor, and also managed to look really beautiful while doing it.

As far as other movie projects are concerned, Portman in 2013 shall be seen in a movie called ‘Knight of Cups’, which is a romance. Giving her company in the film would be Christian Bale. Then there is the highly anticipated sequel to Thor, called the ‘Thor: Dark World’, which is a movie the whole world is incidentally waiting for.

Then in 2014 she shall star opposite Michael Fassbender, in a movie called ‘Jane Got a Gun’, which is an action film with a western theme. The story of this film is about a woman who asks her ex-lover for help in order to save her outlaw husband from a gang out to kill him. Therefore, as you can see, Portman really has her hands full. Hence she has no choice but to think twice before she takes up any new projects, however interesting they might sound.
