Fans of Lady Gaga have a bit of a reason to worry and also a bit of a reason to pray for their favorite singer’s well being. Turns out, she recently tore her Labrum and had to call off a tour while she was on it. For those of you wondering what the Labrum is– it’s a layer of muscle that helps hold the hip joint in place.

She had to take such an extreme step of cancelling the tour because she shall need surgery. And after knowing what a Labrum is, one can imagine how painful it must be if it’s torn. Fans that had tickets for the 21 dates remaining in the ‘Born This Way Ball’ tour will get a refund beginning Thursday. Fans might get back their money, but nothing will make up for their disappointment, for sure.

Earlier, when the tour was merely postponed, Gaga revealed her injury to fans via a tweet. “I’ve been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for some time now, over the past month it has worsened,” Gaga shared Tuesday afternoon. “I’ve been praying it would heal. The injury is a synovitis, a severe inflammation of joints, she said, adding, “I hid it from my staff, I didn’t want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last night’s performance I could not walk and still can’t.

She went on to say: “To the fans in Chicago Detroit & Hamilton I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. Im devasted & sad”. Fans would be hoping she recuperates soon and is healthy enough to entertain them once again. Here’s hoping she makes a hasty recovery, for the sake of her millions of fans worldwide.
