Kris Humphries Ejected From A Game for Fighting
Kim Kardashian will probably be very happy to hear this that, Kris Humphries was recently ejected from the Nets-Celtics game in Boston for fighting. Per ESPN, Kim Kardashian’s ex delivered a hard foul on Kevin Garnett, and Rondo immediately got in the Brooklyn forward’s face, shoving him with two hands. The two continued to struggle as both benches emptied around them. Then, as Humphries started to fall backward, he managed to pull Rondo’s jersey up over his face. And because they were grappling too close to the stands for comfort, they were both ejected from the game.
Humphries was slapped with two technical fouls, one for the personal foul that sent Garnett crashing to the floor and another for physically fighting. “I thought the antics afterward were a bit extra, but, [it was a] hard foul,” Garnett told ESPN. Meanwhile, there’s a possibility that Rondo, widely considered the instigator of the whole mess, could be suspended. “Anyone know where I can get a quick Tetanus shot in Boston?” Humphries tweeted afterward, along with a closeup photo of some nasty-looking scrapes on his shoulder.

For those unaware, Humphries is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Brooklyn Nets. Humphries began dating Kim Kardashian in October 2010. They became engaged in May 2011, and married on August 20, 2011. A two-part TV special showing the preparations and the wedding itself aired on E! In early October 2011, amidst what the Washington Post called a “media blitz” related to the wedding. On October 31, 2011, it was announced that Kardashian had filed for divorce from Humphries after 72 days of marriage. On December 1, 2011, Humphries filed his response to Kardashian’s petition, requesting an annulment on the grounds of fraud or a decree of legal separation rather than Kardashian’s requested divorce.
Several news outlets have surmised that Kardashian’s marriage to Humphries was merely a publicity stunt to promote the Kardashian family’s brand and their subsequent television ventures. “Miss Kardashian is now handcuffed to Mr. Humphries,” Kardashian’s attorney, Laura Wasser, recently pleaded with Judge Stephen Moloney. In response, Humphries’ lawyer, Marshall Waller, told the court that if Kardashian wanted the marriage to be over, all she had to do was agree to his client’s request for an annulment.
