It is official! Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, announced today that she is indeed expecting an heir for Prince William! Kate was admitted to the hospital for a severe case of morning sickness and it was revealed that she is with child. With about 12 weeks into pregnancy, they wanted to wait a while longer before divulging the bun in the oven. This will be the couple’s first born child and are happy for the news.

The spokesman told the Guardian that “Their royal highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby. The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry and members of both families are delighted with the news. The duchess was admitted this afternoon to King Edward VII hospital in central London with hyperemesis gravidarum. As the pregnancy is in its very early stages, Her royal highness is expected to stay in hospital for several days and will require a period of rest thereafter.”

It is good to see that they are progressing in their marriage and it is good that the Duchess is being treated for her acute condition. This will make the baby be third in the line for the throne. This means that Prince Harry would then be 4th in line now. However, Harry seems to be too much of the party type to be interested in any throne. The happy couple have been married for a year and a half and this is perfect timing for the couple.

Kate will have to stay at the King Edward VII Hospital for a few days in Central London and will hopefully have no more incidences. Guess the partying in France bad press the couple received will finally come to an end and the paparazzi will be able to focus on Baby Bump watch. Because like everyone, who doesn’t like to see the beautiful celebrities get fat? Huh? Congratulation Kate and William!
