Kat Von D Files Restraining Order Against Fan

Submitted by on December 4, 2012 – 9:10 am Comments

It turns out that Kat Von D, of L.A. Ink has an obsessed fan that has been sending her creepy messages on the internet. The man in question is Michael Nunn. Aparentlly, Nunn has been sending her direct messages on Twitter constantly and even posting her personal phone number on the web. She has since than filed a restraining order against him.

The stalking and pestering started back in April when he showed up at her house and even called her phone number. He than stalked her at a public event in June. Thus, Kat Von D has every right to be a little scared of Nunn. Kat went on to say that Nunn has “delusional and paranoid tendencies, including the belief that the FBI is watching him.” This is just one of the things that many feel are involving this man.

Fans of the tattoo artist feel that Nunn needs more than a restraining order against him. However, the judge granted a temporary restratining order that prohibits Nunn to be within a 100 yards from Kat and also that he stop contacting her on the internet. Surely it will be made permanent in this case.

It is never fun to know that there are crazy fans out there that will stop at nothing to try to be a part of a celebrity’s life. With the glitz and glamour, there are just those types of people that can’t appreciate things that they have and have to trouble others. With Kat Von D’s case, this makes an addition to a handful of celebrities with stalkers. Most recently was Tom Cruise who had a stalker.

Celebrities are no stranger to restraining orders and there are many cases in which not granting restraining orders have resulted in bad things happening to our favorite stars. With this being another case of stalkers added to the bunch that have been before, it would make sense for the courts to give out harsher punishments for people who take it to an unhealthy level.
