It is a known fact that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are engaged, but a recent slipup by Cyrus, set tongues wagging and rumors flying about the fact that the two could already have married. Basically, in a recent interview Cyrus addressed herself as already married. This is what she was basically quoted as saying: “I’m happy I don’t have to date anyone. I was like, ‘I’m so happy I’m married, because you guys are cruel!’”.

It could have been an innocent mistake, as Cyrus probably already considers herself married to Hemsworth. But, the other possibility that she is already married and mistakenly revealed it is quite real. Probably, the two got secretly married so the ceremony could be held peacefully and away from the media glare. If it’s true that the couple is already married many fans of both Cyrus and Hemsworth would be really disappointed, as they were probably looking forward to a grand wedding ceremony.

Well, fans can take solace in the fact that Hemsworth’s rep has confirmed the rumors of the marriage are definitely not true. Cyrus was recently also questioned about what kind of wedding she would like to have and was quoted as saying “I can’t even get coffee without a million paparazzi following me, so I don’t know why anyone thinks I’m going to have this huge, extravagant wedding. That is so not who I am”. Hence, even if the couple isn’t married, you can be rest assured you wouldn’t see a grand wedding when they actually do. But, many a couple claim, they wouldn’t want to have a grand wedding, but end up having one anyway.

It would be interesting to see if Miley sticks to her guns and has a simple wedding minus the frills or whether she gives into the media pressure and the demand of the fans and has a lavish ceremony instead.  For those unaware, Cyrus and Hemsworth began dating in 2009, then in August of 2010 it was reported that the couple have broken up. But, just a month later the two were seen together once again and it was reported that they reconciled. Then in June 2012, it was revealed that the two are engaged, turns out in May, Hemsworth proposed to Cyrus. Cyrus was earlier in a nine-month long relationship with model Justin Gaston.
