Halle Berry’s Ex Arrested Then Released

Submitted by on November 23, 2012 – 6:06 am Comments

Apparently the LAPD is on a Catch-And-Release program this Thanksgiving. For those who have been following the Halle Berry circus, the tensions finally came to a head last night when Berry’s ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry and current finance, Olivier Martinez decided that it was a great idea to fight on Thanksgiving! That alone is a crime. Police officers had to respond and allow their stuffing to get cold and everyone knows what happens to stuffing when it gets cold. Tragedy!

Anyways, the fight took place at Berry’s California home where Aubry showed up at the home because he was dropping off Nahla, the former couples 4 ½ year-old daughter. TMZ reported that Martinez and Aubry were talking and then a fight broke out. Sources tell the news outlets that Aubry started the fight and that Martinez was only defending himself. No fair that they had to ruin Turkey day!

However, Aubry, who was charged, didn’t stay in jail for very long because of the LAPD “pay the bail and get out” program that they have. Aubry paid the $20,000 bail money and was released from custody. This is not going to be good for Aubry because of the restraining order that was granted to Berry and clearly Aubry was more than violating the 100 yards restrictions.

In the fight, both men were injured a lot and had to get checked out at the hospital. Luckily, Halle saw fit to remove Nahla from the situation so that she doesn’t see the two men going at it. However, the winner of the fight was Martinez, who had pinned Aubry to the ground after punching him in the face. Fans are hoping the YouTube video will be out soon. In the end, Aubry got a broken rib, face contusions and a head injury and Martinez got a possible broken hand and neck injury.

It seems that celebrities are getting the “Catch and Release Program” treatment a lot. A while ago it was reported on how Celebrities are bailing out California one DUI at a time. This is similar. A crime is a crime and there should have been more of a punishment. Surely there will be fallout in the courts coming up.
