Eric Stonestreet Talks About Accusations Of Being Drunk At The AMAs

Submitted by on November 20, 2012 – 11:00 am Comments

Those who watched AMA would concede to the fact that Eric Stonestreet made quiet a memorable presentation at the AMA, so much so that he did not even remember exactly what he did at the event. A proof of that was the fact that he was surprised when Jimmy Kimmel showed him a glimpse, of what he did during a presentation at the event. There was a lot of online speculation that the “Modern Family” star might have been drunk during that appearance, but Eric was quick to clarify. “I was not drunk! I was tipsy! There’s a difference”.

So he basically conceded to the fact that he did consume a more than normal amount of alcohol, before going onto the stage. His confession basically came before he saw the footage. Then after seeing the footage “Not drunk? Just tipsy, then?” Kimmel asked him. “Yeah, yeah. Totally,” Eric said in reply. “But, boy, that’s the first time I saw it and, wow, is that guy drunk or what?” he added. So all you people out there who had assumed Eric was drunk during the AMA were right, and after hearing the truth from the horse’s mouth all the speculation can now stop.
