Danica Patrick and Paul Hospenthal Are Parting Ways
Danica Patrick is divorcing her husband of seven years Paul Hospenthal. Guess, the seven-year-itch got to the couple. “I am sad to inform my fans that after 7 years, Paul and I have decided to amicably end our marriage. This isn’t easy for either of us, but mutually it has come to this,” the racing star wrote on her Facebook page. “He has been an important person and friend in my life and that’s how we will remain moving forward”.
For the uninitiated, Danica Patrick is an auto racing driver, model and advertising spokeswoman. She is the most successful woman in the history of American open-wheel racing—she is the only woman to win a race in the IndyCar Series and holds the highest finish (third place) by a woman at the Indianapolis 500. She competed in the series from 2005 to 2011. In 2012 she competed in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and occasionally in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. For the 2013 season, Danica is driving full time in the #10 GoDaddy.com Chevy for Stewart-Haas Racing in the Sprint Cup Series and a limited Nationwide Series schedule for a team that is TBA.
