Comedian Katt Williams Arrested for Allegedly Hitting A Man

Recently an 18-year old guy accused the Comedian Katt Williams of assaulting him on the head with a bottle. He was as a result arrested by the cops on the suspicion of assault. Turns out, the police initially got a call about a man bleeding from the head, and proceeded to look for the funnyman after hearing that he was involved with the alleged assault, which reportedly took place in a tour vehicle. About half an hour later, authorities found Katt at a nightclub and proceeded to take him into custody. It hasn’t been revealed yet, as to what the relation between Katt and the 18-year old guy is.

The cops have only revealed that, the guy was a part of the group that got invited back to Katt’s tour bus, right before the confrontation took place. Police said Katt was cooperative when taken into custody and was subsequently interviewed this morning, but had not been booked into jail. For the uninitiated, Katt Williams is a comedian, rapper and actor. He is best known for his role as Money Mike in Friday After Next. He is also known for his stint on Nick Cannon’s MTV improv show, Wild ‘n Out, for playing the fictional character Bobby Shaw on the program My Wife and Kids, as well as providing the voice for the character “A Pimp Named Slickback” in The Boondocks.

Katt isn’t a stranger to being on the wrong side of the law. On November 13, 2006, Williams was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport after a stolen gun was found in his briefcase. Then in November 2010, Williams was arrested by police while working on a film in Coweta County, Georgia. He was accused of stealing $3,500 worth of coins and jewelry. He was released the following day on a $40,000 bond.

Then again on June 11, 2011, Williams was arrested in connection of an alleged assault on a tractor driver. The alleged victim said three women approached his tractor along with Williams at around 4:30pm local time and attacked him with rocks and dirt clods, causing him facial injuries. Most recently, on November 9, 2012 a lawsuit was filed in the Superior Court of California – County of Los Angeles which alleges that on October 6 2012, Katt hit his former assistant with “a closed fist” causing serious injury. The plaintiff is asking for punitive damages in the amount of five million dollars.
