Chris Brown Tests Positive For Marijuana

You can be called nothing short of lucky when you test positive for marijuana, but are let off with a few stern words. That is exactly what happened with Chris Brown recently when he tested positive for marijuana, in the state of Virginia, where smoking weed is an absolute no no. He basically was in court for a probation progress report hearing in his felony battery of Rihanna — and according to probation report docs … Brown failed a drug test on June 18 in Virginia, where he was fulfilling his court ordered community service.

The interesting thing is Chris told his probation officer that, he had smoked marijuana in California legally, as he possesses a medical marijuana prescription there. He probably wasn’t aware of the fact that in Virginia, it is illegal to smoke pot, without prescription, or with it. It also needs to be questioned, as to what ailment Chris suffers from that he has been prescribed marijuana medically.

udge Patricia Schnegg in front of who Chris was presented, did not see it necessary to ask this question. She in fact commented that, she hadn’t instructed Chris take a drug test as a part of his probation, therefore she decided to not revoke his probation. In other words, she cut him some slack and did nothing more than sternly warn him that, such a thing should not be repeated. The judge as a matter of fact seemed in a really generous mood, as she also instructed, Chris’s case be moved to California, as that is where he is lives now.

This would in other words mean Chris can smoke as much pot as he wants from now on and that too without being on the wrong side of the law, as he won’t have to be in Virginia anymore. After all, he allegedly has a medical condition which needs him to take marijuana. The judge must have therefore, given the orders keeping his medical condition in mind. It could also be possible, she did not want Chris making any more trouble in her state, and must have thought shifting his case to California would mean, he is California’s problem now.
