Brooke Burke-Charvet Is Cancer-Free!

Angeles Lladro And Brooke Burke-Charvet Host Fundraiser For Operation Smile At Lladro Signing Event In Beverly HillsThe news that rocked the entertainment world was that Brooke Burke-Charvet, the host of ABC’s ‘Dancing With the Stars’ had cancer. However, after what was most likely, a painful surgery on her Thyroid, the star is cancer-free! This was reported 7 days after her thyroid cancer surgery and the 41-year-old star revealed that the surgery was a success.

She told HuffingtonPost that “I just got the results back from all of my tests and great news – the thyroid cancer has been removed from my body and all my lymph nodes are clear. So I’m hoping that this is the end of the story. Woohoo!!! And thank GOD!” It is good to see that she is in high spirits.

Brooke has been catching up on her favorite TV shows along with movie marathons. With the mandatory Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Stiletto Dash Presented By The Palazzo Las Vegasrest period the doctors gave her, she has been having fun just “getting lost in someone else’s story”. The mother of four has been having fun, but she is eager to get back working. An early Christmas present came to her and she couldn’t be happier.

Another story of a cancer patient is 10-year-old Jasmine Faulk. The little girl received $100,000 from Charlie Sheen and stuntman Eddie Braun to help fight her cancer. She has since then thanked them for their generosity. Cancer is no joke in any form and Brooke can mark herself as one of the few survivors that battle cancer. After Brooke’s break, she tends to make it back to work.

It is great to hear of Brooke’s success with the surgery and we can all hope that the same thing will happen to other cancer patients. With the fast recovery surely to happy with the 41-year-old star, we hope that she has everything she needs. Congratulations Brooke!
