Avalanna Routh ‘Mrs. Bieber’ Dead At Age 6
It seems that cancer claimed yet another victim. This time it was Avalanna Routh, who many remember as Mrs. Bieber. The six year old said that she was in love with Justin Bieber and was able to pose with the “As Long As You Love Me” Pop Star back in February. She even got to kiss the Beebs! Sadly, the cute darling lost her battle with AT/RT, a rare form of brain cancer on Wednesday.
Many took to the brave fighter’s story as a ray of hope. To be able to be brave at such a young age is a milestone in a person’s character. Justin Bieber took to his Twitter account and tweeted, “just got the worst news ever. one of the greatest spirits i have ever known is gone. please pray for her family and for her. RIP Avalanna. i love you.”
Avalanna had the rare form of cancer that was showcased on “Stand Up To Cancer” earlier this month and she seemed like a normal happy girl. Despite the rough number of surgeries, she was able to keep her charm and sweetness. Every case of cancer is a sad one and that is why there are pushes to continue fighting cancer to be able to come to a cure.
CNN Reports with a video of the sweet six year old and said “As Routh sought treatment at a Boston facility last year, the nurses there decided to throw the Bieber fan a pretend wedding. She tied the knot with a cutout of the 18-year-old singer, and she soon had the chance to meet her “husband” in person.”
At age 6, Avalanna had the chance to meet and kiss a famous Pop Star, travel to New York and all the while smiling. Her family and her were flown to New York and was able to meet with the star. Aileen Routh, Avalanna’s mother, says that she is not stopping to share her little girl’s story. In this way they will be able to continue trying to find the cure for a progressive cancer like AT/RT. What seemed like a little thing turned into a big disaster rapidly. This is a story that many feel need to continue as we look to the future.
