Are The Foo Fighters Going On A Hiatus?
Dave Grohl must have send shockwaves through the fans of Foo Fighter when he said at a recent concert in New York that “without making a big deal out of it, we don’t have any shows after this.” “This is it, man. Honestly I don’t know when we’re gonna do it again … and this is the perfect place to do it”. Fans would probably like to take this comment of his with a pinch of salt, and would hope that it is something similar to what he had said in August at the Reading Festival, where he had mentioned, their performance there was “the last for a long time”.
But later on, he clarified on a Tweet that, he was only referring to touring in England, when had made that comment. The comment made in New York though, doesn’t seem to have any such loopholes and seems quite straightforward. Although, fans world over should probably wait for an official announcement, before they jump to any conclusions. Foo Fighters on its part has regaled audiences with its brand of alternative rock since 1994, when it was formed.
