1.1% of Iraqi Troops Ready to Fight

Out of 86 Iraqi battalions, there is exactly one that is ready to fight on its own. You may say, "Well, that's better than nothing." Unfortunately, this is a giant step backward from the three that were "ready" last month. At the rate we're going, that number will be down to zero by the middle of October. BTW: these are the same 86 battalions that will be running the country when we start pulling out before the midterm elections next year.
